The Bay Area Senior Softball Association (BASSA) is a non-profit senior (50+) softball organization. BASSA offers a daytime senior softball league in the Clear Lake / Pasadena area, and is always looking for new players to come enjoy some fun and competitive slow-pitch softball with us. Our league has men and women participating, with several teams divided into two divisions, based on skill levels; an East division (for older players) and a West division (for younger players). We play on the senior softball fields at Kipper Mease Sports Complex in Pasadena, TX.
The Fall 2025 season has ended and we will take a break during the winter. Games will start back in March 2026.
If you are interested in joining and registering for the 2026 season, contact us and we'll put you on a list to send you the 2026 Registration form when it comes available in January 2026.
During the winter some BASSA players practice on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. If you have any questions about joining, registering for next year or when and where softball practices are held, please contact us.
At this year's luncheon, we proudly announced the winners of the West Division. Team 3, managed by Terry Frederick, claimed victory in the Fall season with an impressive record of 12 wins and 7 losses. Having also secured the Spring season title, Terry's team has been crowned the 2025 West Division Champions.

We proudly announce the winners of the East Division is Team 1 managed by Tim Fuller. Team 1 claimed victory for the Fall season with 14 wins and 6 losses (.700). Team 1 also secured the Spring season title and overall had 28 wins, 10 losses and 1 tie for the year.
